Welcome the New Year Camping Trip | Dec 30 - Jan 3
Come and join us to bring in the New Year in the style we all enjoy! Camping!
Maumelle Campgrounds is a beautiful campground right along the banks of the Arkansas River. The Murray Lock and Dam are nearby. A great time of year to go. No ticks, no chiggers, no mosquitoes. Just a nice warm campfire and good friends.
We will arrive on Wednesday, December 30th. Enjoy the day on the 31st and bring in the New Year that evening. Another two days to relax on January 1st & 2nd and then head home on the 3rd. No special meals or events planned. Just some time to spend and do what we enjoy most.
Reservations can be made through www.Recreation.gov. If you have the National Parks Senior Pass you have up to a 50% discount on your camping fee.

2027 JOIN ME TRIP FEBRUARY:
Escape the Winter - Join Us in Biloxi
| Feb 14th - Feb 24th |
Pack up the RV, dig out your shorts, and come thaw out with us along the beautiful shores of Biloxi, Mississippi! This will be our fourth consecutive year heading south for a little sunshine, warmer weather, and good times with great friends. We'd love for you to join our merry band of snowbirds. The more, the merrier — and the more people to blame when someone gets lost in a golf cart!
Biloxi Bay RV Resort & Marina has just about everything you could ask for: a swimming pool, lazy river, snack bar, paddle boards, kayaks, golf cart rentals, and a whole bunch of other ways to have fun, relax, or simply enjoy doing absolutely nothing. There's plenty to explore, but even better, there'll be plenty of friends to enjoy it with.
SAVE the dates February 14th - 24th
We'll leave on February 14, with one overnight stop at Wendy Oaks RV Resort in Florence MS, and settle in at Biloxi Bay RV Resort for a full week of fun, fellowship, and hopefully a little sunshine. On February 22, we'll head to Vidalia, Louisiana, for two nights at the beautiful River View RV Park & Resort, right on the mighty Mississippi and just across the river from Natchez. We'll enjoy the river views, explore the area, and make a few more memories before heading home on February 24.
So come join us! Bring your RV, your sense of adventure, and your favorite stories. Whether you're up for kayaking, sightseeing, lazy-river lounging, or just sitting around visiting with friends, there's a place for you in our group. We can't promise you'll come home rested — but we can promise good company, lots of laughs, and a pretty good chance you'll be warmer than when you left.
We hope you'll come along. Let's make this year's trip another one to remember!

Shopping & camping during April fools day | what a dangerous combo
Well Ladies, grab your shopping bags, baskets, and wagons and let's go shopping at the largest Flea Market in the WORLD.
And Guys, pack up the camper, fill'er up with gas/diesel, bring your fishing poles, rocker chairs, grills, and let's head to Texas.
Flea Market is considered the largest flea market in the United States. It is the oldest, largest continually operating outdoor market in the USA, operates on hundreds of acres, and provides spaces for about 5,000 vendors. The flea market is 30 miles from the campgrounds.

Tyler State Park They say that Tyler State Park is a tranquil haven in the pines. It features a cool, 64-acre spring-fed lake, 100-foot tall trees, and a few historical structures. Play at the lake, boat or kayak, wet a hook, catch some fish, wander through the woods, or relax and do nothing with your camping chair, book, & binoculars. You will love this peaceful get-away in Northeast Texas!
